Setup Process

From the inception of our company we have focused our efforts on creating an affordable, high quality home within a simple and enjoyable experience. One of the most unique qualities about a Whisper Creek Log Home is the time saved during construction. We work very closely with our Customers and Contractors to insure the set-up process goes as smoothly as possible. One of the most enjoyable parts of building your new home will be to watch how quickly the set-up will go and how much time and money is saved.

Boasting one of the fastest close-in periods in the industry; most of our home packages (exterior walls, lofts system, porches and options) are stood up in 2 to 30 days. While traditional log homes require an average of 10- 12 months to build (Rob Peterson, American Log Mortgage), the average build time for a Whisper Creek Log Home is 4-6 months.

Standardized log walls and conventional wood framing make Whisper Creek system-built structures easy to assemble. Trained contractors will quickly and efficiently set-up your new log home dream.

Step 01	Once your home arrives on site, the contractor will offload all your home's components and do an inventory of all parts. From this point all of the main walls and corner posts can be set the first day.
Step 02	All gable ends and interior posts and beams will be put in place, glue-lam ridge beams set and ready for day three.
Step 03	Most of this day will be spent on getting the roof joists in place along with any possible upgrades such as dormers or porches. The sheathing is then added to bring everything under roof.
Step 04	This day is slated for any finishing touches or loose ends that need to be wrapped up to complete your set-up process and prepare the home for the next stage of construction.
